Asia, Europe, Australia, the US and Africa are feeling it with a hectic international touring schedule but it’s in Dubai where Mavath has risen furthest. As both DJ and promoter, Dion has turned Dubai into a global DJ and clubbing destination.
Crowds of 2000+ at the Peppermint Club were the first to witness the transformation as Dion turned the venue into Dubai’s only superclub and show the worlds top djs that this was a must-check destination, cementing his place in DJ MAGs TOP 100 DJS 2006.
As resident of one of the worlds largest beach clubs, Barasti Beach, thousands weekly have been throbbing to Dion’s latest productions of the eternal summer sound! Being the dj behind the start of some of Dubai’s favourite venues including 360, The Apartment, Blush and C Bar, this year Dion has turned his attention to Quantum (which was just voted number 1 club in Dubai) and the massive Layali Beach Party!
With his debut album WARRIOR, Dion Mavath has added another chapter to an already impressive biography with tracks consistently being played by “A list” djs and radio, with the album going TOP 10 in its second week of release! The first track off the album “Keep on Loving Me” has just been signed to the worlds biggest house music label DEFECTED, after coming top 3 (out of over 15000) in their Big New Producer Competition 2009! The Second single Wait So Long also has similar success going top 10 in the Beatport Electro Charts.
In April 2010 Dion Mavath become the first artist based in the Middle East to sign with a major record label, Sony Music Worldwide,!
